The stained glass panels from churches and other POIs get their own Stained Glass entry at the forge. In vanilla they are hidden as two of the eleven Glass Block shapes.
Hitting one with a hammer no longer turns it into a wood plug. It upgrades to Bulletproof Stained Glass, which keeps the look.
Pick the plate or the centered plate from the shape menu (hold Reload), like other variant blocks. Same cost as the vanilla Glass Block: 12 glass, 5 lead, 5 clay. With the forge-without-smelting sandbox option it is 3 crushed sand, 5 scrap lead, 1 clay.
The bulletproof stained plates are also in the forge's Bulletproof Glass Block shape menu, so you can craft them directly.
Stained glass upgrades to Bulletproof Stained Glass for one Bulletproof Glass Block. It has the vanilla bulletproof glass HP and material and is repaired the same way.
Only the stained panels change. Plain business and industrial glass still upgrade to wood as in vanilla.
