Turret Claim Guard

Shoot zombies, not walls

Server only

Your own turrets no longer chip away at your base. In vanilla every turret shot that hits a block damages it, so misses and shotgun spread slowly wear down the walls zombies stand against.

With this mod a player's turret does no block damage inside a protected land claim. Zombies still take full damage, and outside claims turrets work as in vanilla.

On the server

Which turrets

The placed auto turret, shotgun turret and M60 turret, plus the robotics junk turret and junk sledge. In vanilla the auto, shotgun and M60 turrets do 1 block damage per hit (x2 on wood), the junk turret 1 and the junk sledge 17 and up.

v1.0.0Current

  • first version.

Good to know

  • Server only (Harmony code). Players install nothing and can leave EasyAntiCheat on.
  • The settings are in settings.txt in the mod folder. Type tcg reload in the server console and a change takes effect right away.
  • A claim only counts while it's active, under the vanilla expiry rules. Allies are the game's allies (friends list), the same ones a land claim already trusts.
  • Turrets can't set off explosive barrels inside a protected claim, since shooting the barrel is a block hit.
  • A placed turret that a player steers by hand fires from that player's game, so those manual shots aren't covered. Automatic fire always is.
